I. General Restrictions and Requirements:

1. You are only eligible to enter this giveaway if it's legal to do so in your country. Therefore this giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

2. You must be 18 years or older to enter.

3. This giveaway is also only open to first time travellers to Japan. This has to be the first time you'll be visiting Japan.

4. You must have the necessary travel documents for travel to Japan to win.

5. The giveaway only covers a round-trip ticket to and from Tokyo and a seven (7) night stay at a hotel in Tokyo. The intent of this trip is for you to explore Tokyo for seven (7) days as a tourist.

6. You must be a subscriber to The Black Experience Japan's YouTube channel. You can subscribe here.

10. Edit: We have relaxed the rules a bit. If you aren’t on Facebook or Twitter, simply follow us on the social media platform that you are most active on. Do this along with all the other requirements and your entry will still be considered.

11. To complete your entry, you must send a 30 - 90 seconds video stating why you should be selected for this giveaway. Why would this trip be a dream come true for you?

12. Videos can be sent via DropBox, WeTransfer or some other easily accessible file sharing website to our email address freetripbej@gmail.com.

13. In your email please also indicate your name on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook so that your entry can be verified as complete.

14. By submitting your video entry you agree to allowing us to use your video submission in the compilation video for voting purposes. We will only include your video in the compilation if you are selected as one of the top five (5) entrants.

15. If you are selected as a one of the top five (5) entrants, you also agree to release us from any and all liability related to your likeness appearing in the compilation video, that will be uploaded to our channel for voting purposes.

16. The entire contest will run for three (3) weeks beginning on Sunday March 10, 2019 11 p.m. (JST) and ends Sunday March 31, 2019 11 p.m. (JST). We will be accepting video submissions for the first two (2) weeks of the contest. We will then select five (5) entries in the form of video submissions and create a compilation video of these entries and upload it to our YouTube channel on Sunday March 24, 2019 11 p.m. (JST). Viewers will be asked to vote for their favourite of the top five (5) entries in the video. The entrant with the most votes will win. The winner will be announced on Monday April 1, 2019 11 p.m (JST).

17. The trip has to be booked for either the last week of May 2019 ( May 26 - Jun 2) or the first week in June (June 2nd -  9th).

18. Once the airplane tickets have been booked, the dates cannot be changed or altered.

19. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, personal data from the giveaway will NOT be used or shared in any way, shape or form. We only require the necessary information to book the flight and hotel for the resulting winner of the giveaway. We will only ask for this information after the winner has been selected. Please do not send this information with your video entries.

20. The winner will be announced via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and in our YouTube Community Tab and Story post on Sunday April 1, 2019 11 p.m. (JST).

21. If an entrant attempts to artificially inflate votes during the voting period, that entrant will be automatically disqualified.

22. The winner will be contacted via email the same day that they were announced as the winner. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize or it will be awarded to the person holding second place.

23. The winner also agrees to be featured in a video on our YouTube channel in the form of a travel vlog where they will share their experience in Japan with our community. This video will be uploaded at the end of their trip.

24. Entries that don't comply with YouTube's  Community Guidelines will also be disqualified.
